What is about the colors? Meh…. I can see the white causing glare.. But like everything out there, some people will like it and others won’t. Personally I think the current black iPhone is so much sexier then the white. But what about red, blue and other color? I think ren is more for the fanboy because pretty much everything else mac is white. I would love a purple iPhone to match my current gen nano, but even if they give color options I’m not gonna upgrade unless there’s enough changes to the physical stats of the 4th gen and the colors

iChat Features Hidden Within iPhone OS 4.0
Numerous sources are confirming that there are some hidden iChat features and commands found inside of iPhone OS 4.0 that could be a clear sign that we may see a iPhone/iPod iChat app from Apple.

By watching some of the processes running on the new firmware, an process by the name of iChatAgent was found running in the background along with some additional iChat code. Could this be video calling? Or will it only come with iPhone 4G? Both the code and a separate tip to 9to5Mac have also referenced an Apple-run site that, along with three internal sites, are likely being used to host and test video on the iPhone. An unconfirmed but thorough insider maintained that the site is waiting for a “jingle” from the iChat app itself to initialize the feature; without information about the app’s presence and connection quality it won’t do anything.

9 to 5 Mac has also shown references within the SDK to features such as moderators, chat rooms, encrypted video conferences, and more. Digging even further, the same notification noises that the desktop iChat application uses, can actually be found in the SDK as well.

So by the same logic, Motorola should sue Apple then? Since Motorola invented the first “Cell Phone” in the early 1970's.

The University of Manchester, England should sue Apple as they invented computer “software” as we know it in 1948?

The Italian physicist Alessandro Volta should sue Apple for stealing his invention – the battery?

Come on, Apple are doing everything they can to hold onto their self proclaimed iPhone mantle. The world is quickly realising the iPhone is primitive and unevolved. HTC HD2 running WM6.5 has already replaced the iPhone as the phone of choice for many mobile users. Apple know they are in trouble and with WP7 around the corner they are running out of time.

Have you seen the iPad compared to the Windows Slates? An Internet slate without flash support, haha what a joke…

Kudos to Apple, they finally decided to put their feet down. I knew there was a reason why all the newer SmartPhones had a similar look and feel. At the time I really couldn’t put a finger on it…but now it’s dawned on me… =) j/p I think when this is all said and done, and the dust have settled, Apple will have created a bigger and better device, and someone else will once again be playing catch up and trying to replicate Apple’s success.

MikeTo, you wrote that nokia camera is incredible...
I went from a Nokia N95 to a HTC hero and must say that i was "incredibly" disapointed with the camera in my hero and i have decided that i will not buy a new phone before :

1. HTC makes a new android phone with a camera atleast as good as the one in my old nokia N95 or

2. I give up on HTC making camera's that are comparable to kids play camera's and buy some other brand of phone.

I will never ever again buy a phone with a camera as poor as the one in the hero...It is appaulingly bad...5 Mpixel's but only able to take decent pictures in full daylight, outside and with a completely stationary target and a steady hand.

2Sam: Do the HTC phones allow geotagging of the photos? My iPhone does that and it's a very useful feature.
